    My Story

I was born and raised duck hunting in NE Arkansas.  Mainly hunted the St Francis river, it’s flooded timber during high water, rice fields of friends and family, and generally anywhere we could find ducks!

I began calling incessantly year round when I was about 12 years old, over 50 years ago, and, thankfully, really haven‘t slowed down yet!

My first call was a Yentzen double reed, then a Hayden’s DR88 Cajun Squeal and then an Echo Timber.  With time I began experimenting with different insert/barrel combinations and then ventured into turning my own barrels from acrylic and various woods.

With the help of friends in the business I eventually developed my own unique combination of tone board designs including features to minimize “sticking” and creating internal resonance similar to the old “Reelfoot” type call designs.

I would love to work with you to create a call that matches your calling style and hunting situations!

Please don’t hesitate to call me if you have any questions and/or would like more information.

    Duck Hunting Beyond a Passion

Duck hunting has been an underlying part of my year round life since I was just a young boy!

If you have any questions about calls and/or anything else regarding duck hunting please free to let me know.

No one has all the answers but I’m glad to share my thoughts and experiences.
